Donations help us to be able to concentrate our energies on the stories. Donations take many forms:
Money – always useful for keeping afloat and stress levels down
Promoting the site and/or stories – boosting the signal means that more people will read our stories
Critique – help us to become better writers by letting us know what could be improved with each chapter and/or story. Ask questions about the characters or the society or the timeline. We may miss something crucial that you will might spot.
Also, on my links list for other sites many of those folks could use the same kinds of assistance. If you can spare a coin or two for someone who works hard to make something with their imagination or if you can buy something that is handmade, it would make the world just a bit brighter.

This is as good a place as any for me to leave information about doners – at least while it is still new to us.
September 10, 2009 we received a rather large donation through the mail from, as near as I can discern, a group in the Kingdom of the West. This was both welcome and surprising.
Today we received a donation from Klio who is on Live Journal as Meritahut and does a wonderful graphic novel soap opera set near Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. SPQR Blues has everything you could wish for – intrigue, murder, weddings, babies, earthquakes and bears! Klio’s donation prompts me to advise her to keep an eye on the story because there is a special acknowledgment coming up in a future chapter.
I Will have to come back again when my class load lets up – nonetheless I am taking your RSS feed so I can read your site offline. Thanks.
